A Community of Care,
held in wild country.

Bringing community members with cancer together through wellness classes, rehabilitation services, and outdoor experiences that support physical and emotional wellbeing.

Each person's cancer rehabilitation journey is different —
and may seem like uncharted territory.

Wild Country Oncology Services brings community members with cancer together through wellness classes and rehabilitation services that support physical and emotional wellbeing.

We focus on helping individuals regain physical strength, manage treatment-related side effects, and reduce the risk of lymphedema through carefully designed exercise programs — guided by a licensed occupational therapist with years of cancer rehabilitation experience.

A Community of Care

In Their Own Words

Stories from our community.

A Godsend

Being able to connect with others who have endured cancer and then participate in the restorative and healing movement has been critical for both physical and mental recovery. Emma is so knowledgeable, caring and empathic. We are fortunate to have her in our community.

Stronger from the inside out

After my breast reconstruction surgery, my strength and confidence had taken a serious hit. Pilates strength training has been truly transformative for me — not just physically, but emotionally as well. With every session, I have been getting stronger from the inside out. Pilates didn't just help me recover — it gave me back a sense of ownership over my body and strength I didn't know I still had.

— L.D.

A real sense of community

These classes have been an essential part of my recovery and rebuilding process after cancer treatment. They've helped me regain strength, improve flexibility, and rebuild confidence in what my body can do. Beyond the physical benefits, the classes foster a real sense of community — I've made meaningful connections here that I truly value.

A gamechanger

Rehab Pilates has been a gamechanger for me. Breast cancer took my strength, and almost my life. Emma's Pilates has helped me get stronger and continues to do so.

— Eileen Humphreys

Brought me back to life

Emma Williams is an inspiring and very thoughtful teacher. Her Pilates class has brought me back to life and greater strength. Emma is able to adjust her instruction to perfectly fit each individual's needs. She is gifted, talented and kind. I am eternally grateful to Emma for helping me recover from the devastating effects of cancer and chemo. Emma is my real-life hero!

— Jane Folgeman

Better sleep

While I just celebrated 5 years since surgery and radiation therapy for my breast cancer, the long-term effects are ongoing. Being able to continue with wellness Pilates is huge for helping me improve shoulder range of motion and core strength in specific and overall strength in general. Bonus — on days when I get to do wellness Pilates, my sleep quality is much improved!
